Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
$42.25/hr - $45.68/hr 40 hours per week, year-round. Final placement within this range is based on confirmed job-related skills and relevant experience.On-site, Full-time, and Non-Exempt (Year-Round)
As the Executive Assistant, you are the strategic partner and the primary engine behind the Executive Director’s (ED) daily workflow. You manage the complex logistics and communications that allow for visionary leadership and strategic growth.
- Strategic Gatekeeping: Proactively manage and prioritize the ED's calendar to ensure focus on high-level strategic goals.
- Executive Correspondence: Draft polished, bilingual emails, reports, and memos that align perfectly with the ED’s voice.
- Board-Ready Presentations: Translate school data and strategic concepts into visually compelling graphics using Canva or Google Slides.
- Project Leadership: Take full ownership of high-stakes events, from Board retreats to campus graduations, with a zero-mistake mindset.
- Sophisticated Buffer: Act as a professional liaison between the Executive Office and staff, parents, and community partners.
What We’re Looking For
We need a high-level self-starter with the anticipatory thinking to solve problems before they arise. You must possess the emotional maturity to remain calm in "crisis mode" and the relational intelligence to navigate complex social dynamics.
- Experience: 4+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior leader (CEO, Director, or Principal), ideally in an Educational setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingualism: Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and design tools like Canva.
- Discretion: An ironclad commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel and student data.
