Richmond, CA - Part Time

 

$31.70-$33.00 per hour. 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 2:00 to 6:00 PM, year-round. Final placement within this range is based on confirmed job-related skills and relevant experience.

What We're Looking For…
We are looking for an energetic, patient, and creative Afterschool Program Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for middle school students after the school day ends. You will lead educational activities, assist with homework, and facilitate recreational play.
The ideal candidate is a mentor at heart who can maintain a structured environment while fostering a sense of community and curiosity: A true "team player" who prioritizes student outcomes above all else. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of at least 48 college semester units or an Associate's Degree is desired.
  • Experience working with children in a group setting, e.g., after-school program leader/tutor, camp counselor, youth sports coach, instructional aide, student teacher.
  • Experience building authentic, respectful relationships with a diverse student body; values all cultural backgrounds.
